Installing mod maps for Miscreated
First, you need to install the desired map. This works the same way as installing a mod.
We describe how to do this HERE.
Next, you need to add the map. As an example, we will use the map Bad Lands.
Basic Mode
In Basic Mode, enter the name of the map under Map Cycle.
In this example, enter bad_lands
.
Then click on +.
If necessary, delete other listed maps by clicking on x and click on Save.
Finally, restart the server.
Tip: You can take the map name from the name of the file.
For example, if the name of the file is MyMap.pak, enter MyMap.
Advanced Mode
In Advanced Mode, add the map under Commandline.
First, select Custom
as the map to start under Map to Start.
Then add the map using the following format under Custom Map to Start:/Game/Mods/[WorkshopID]/[MapName]
Replace [WorkshopID] and [MapName] with the WorkshopID and map name of the desired map, respectively.
In our example, it looks like this:/Game/Mods/1752306528/bad_lands
.
Click on Save and restart the server.
Tip: You can take the map name from the name of the file.
For example, if the name of the file is MyMap.pak, enter MyMap.
You can find the WorkshopID in the URL of the map: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1752306528
.
In this case, the ID is 1752306528.
