Direct connecting via Steam to ARK: Survival Evolved
Add server to favourites
- start Steam
- click on View -> Game servers at the top
- now click on Favourites
- click on +
- now enter the IP of your server with the query port, e.g.
62.104.107.240:27015or134.255.223.144:20110and click on Ok
You can find the query port in your server configuration under General information.
Important: Steam retrieves the server information via the query port.
If you receive the error message that no server was found,
Please check that you have entered the correct IP and query port and that the server status is Server is running. - start your game and call up the server list.
- you will now find your server ingame under Favourites.
Important: Although the server is listed in the Steam browser, you can only join your server ingame.
Connecting directly via Steam does not work.
Find server via the in-game search
- start ARK.
- click Join ARK.
- then click on Unofficial under SERVER FILTER.
- enter 4netplayers (only works for servers with branding) or a part of the server name at the top under NAME FILTER
- now search for your own server using the name you have given yourself.
Important: The server list ingame never shows all available servers!
We therefore recommend that you create the server as a favourite as described above.
You will then find your server under Favourites.
