How to Change the Map in Unturned

In this article, we will describe how you can change the map for your Unturned server.
The available maps are mentioned below in the article.

Entering Maps

Basic Mode

In the Basic Mode, you enter the name of the desired map under Server Settings.
Simply enter the map in the Map field.
Important: Pay attention to the capitalization!
PEI and Pei are two different maps for the server!

Advanced Mode

In the Advanced Mode, the map must be entered in the Commands.dat file.
Find the line Map and enter the name of the map, e.g. Map PEI.
Important: Pay attention to the capitalization!

Available Maps

This is a list of maps that are currently available.
This list can change at any time if the developer removes or adds maps!

Normal Maps

• PEI The default map for Unturned
• Germany
• Russia
• Washington
• Yukon

Arena Maps

These maps are intended for PvP (Player vs Player).
Each player starts in their own building, and the round doesn’t start until enough players have joined the server.
There are no zombies on these maps.

• PEI Arena
• Alpha Valley
• Monolith
• Washington Arena

Gold Maps

These maps must first be subscribed to via the Workshop.
You can only play on these maps if you have the Gold Upgrade.

• Florida
• Kuwait

Other Maps

These maps are usually test maps and are not intended for server operation.
Therefore, it is recommended not to use these maps.

• Tutorial Test map for various gameplay elements
• Destruction Test map to demonstrate the destructibility of different objects

Workshop Maps

For Workshop Maps, you need to specify the name of the folder that contains the map.
For the map Elver, for example, it would be Elver.
