How to Activate Betas in Steam

Many games on Steam, especially those in Early Access, often have different builds available.

Here’s how you can select and play them:

1. Right-click on the game’s name
2. Click on Properties
3. Click on Betas
4. In the dropdown menu that appears, choose a beta version if available.
   Note that the version needs to be compatible with your server!
5. Some betas may require entering a code.
   The input field for the code can be found below the dropdown menu.
6. In most cases, Steam will now update the game to the selected beta.
   If not, launch the game. Steam should then update the game.
